  Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this company and their Epil Sonic or Epil Pro hair removal machine. I ordered and paid for a new machine $12,000 and when the machine arrived the cover on the top showed that it had been broken and glue back together at the hinge. I proceeded to use the machine on numerous clients. All the of the videos that Clinogen sent us were followed. The speed that the treatment was done in the videos. You basically use a needle and then tweezers to deliver a sound wave energy to the hair and the energy kills the hair follicle. We found that it was not effective at all doing it at the speed in the videos from Clinogen. If we slowed it down and gripped the hair with the tweezers for 30-60 seconds then we started to get some results, but it became quickly apparent that this was not cost effective for clients at all (at the end of 60 minutes on someones bikini line, having done only 60 - 90 hairs and they may end up growing back, both us and customers were frustrated. In contacting the company they suggested making sure the machine was close to the person so the cord was not stretched out too long as that may effect the sound wave energy and to make sure we were using the cream (which was exorbitantly priced) in the treatment. We were doing all of that and using lots of cream as it would absorb rapidly into the skin so were have to constantly reply. I tried the machine for a year in my salon and gave up. I was in regular communication with Clinogen about the issues we were experiencing. I ended up having to refund 80% of the customers we used it on. When I decided that it was just not working for us, I asked Clinogen if they could consider taking the machine back. I said I was happy to pay shipping costs and the cost of renting the machine for the year and if they could refund the difference upon receipt of the machine. The answer was a straight out no. I persisted, saying that machine was effectively useless to me and it would great if they could provide some sort of solution for the situation. Their response was that I have bought the machine and it was my problem, nothing to do with them. This was a 2 years ago, but I have just recently found their google maps listing and wanted to warn others about buying this machine or dealing with this company.
